Enhance Your Library in 2018!
Dear Library Friends,
We hope that you are enjoying a happy holiday season! As we prepare to begin 2018, we want to thank you for your continuing support of the library. Here in the Fairfax Library Foundation office, we are humbled by the donations coming in at the end of the calendar year. We are close to meeting our year-end fundraising goal of $70,000, but we’re not there yet—and every dollar counts!
Gifts to Fairfax Library Foundation support critical community programs of Fairfax County Public Library, like the Ready to Read Early Literacy Outreach and Changing Lives Through Literature. This year we’ve added the New American Initiative and distributing literacy bags to homeless and displaced children to the programs we support. You can read about all the children, teens, and adults our programs benefit here, and we hope you feel proud of the contributions you make to our library system.
